“Our Footprints” tells the stories of our journey at Saving Susan Ministry.
“Your way was through the sea,
your path through the great waters;
yet your footprints were unseen.”
Psalm 77:19

This Thanksgiving, our hearts are full. Hear from our Next Steps students on why they are thankful and don't forget to count your blessings as you reflect on this special time.
“I am soaking up my last days in Guatemala. It has been more than I could have ever expected, and God has been more present than I could have ever hoped for. I am thankful that there is hope for each kid to step into what God placed in their heart, and how they all have the desire to help and serve the Kingdom. It is reassuring to know that the ministry is able to support them in God’s plan for their lives!”
“my heart is open and ready for you to show up, Lord. Show me what you have for me.” I think it was in that moment I knew I wouldn’t be coming home from this trip the same…
“It never ceases to amaze me how God works and what an incredible plan he has for us all near and far, well off or with nearly nothing. Warning- you cannot go on a trip like this without it breaking your heart and changing your life!”
God has blessed our group with a wonderful time of fellowship with the students and missionaries that we support here in this beautiful country. This team is full of energy and connects so well with everyone. It’s beautiful to see our common bond in Christ shine through and remove all barriers.
“God has bright futures for each child here, and I am confident in how Saving Susan can assist each one to reach their God given potential. I am blessed to be here, blessed to get to have the opportunity to be at a children’s home that is covered in Jesus, and a ministry that supports them so well. Thank you for all the support and prayers!”
In March co-founder, Tracy Arntzen and Emily Westbrook, Ministry Coordinator, were able to see these kids face to face for a few hours. That short visit paved the way for our team to come in this week and further strengthen these bonds through worship, crafts, and faith sharing.
It’s hard to believe we have been coming to visit Bileg Children’s Home for 10 years. Bileg, being our first step into missions will always have a special place in our hearts.
The favor of the Lord was clear as we traveled through the long flight, a layover in Seoul and our beautiful welcome into Cambodia.
We are pleased to share the news that Saving Susan Ministry has officially joined the Christian Alliance for Orphans! CAFO unites more than 200 respected organizations and over 850 church members, existing to "labor together in shared initiatives that inspire and equip Christians for effective orphan care."
I love this model of being able to video call with children in other countries and invest in their lives. I love the joy it brings to children who have experienced so much abuse, neglect and abandonment. I love that we can help children spread their wings and dream of a future where they thrive.
“Our team is melancholy to leave, and hope that God continues to do beautiful things in our lives and the lives of everyone we met at Manos. God works miracles, and we saw miracles made in Manos de Compasion.”
My heart is so full watching this team love so well and Philemon 1:7 so describes this team..”Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the Lord's people.”
Meet Narciso. He is one of the many children impacted by your giving to Saving Susan Ministry.
We are thrilled to share that Saving Susan Ministry has been officially accredited by ECFA! Thank you to our donors and supporters, for your faith in our ministry and for placing your resources under our stewardship to further the Kingdom.
After years of separation from loved ones, the initial moments of our reunion told a story of deep love and affection. The first hugs we shared affirmed this truth.
