A. Jack Kelly, Ph.D.
Jack is an ordained minister since 1988 and presently serves as an Elder at Sanctuary. He co-founded The Opus One Group in 1996, and acts as its President. He also co-founded The DayStar Foundation, where he has served as CEO since 1990. Throughout his career, he has worked with many high-profile clients and companies, providing counseling and coaching services for several Major League Baseball and National Football League players, and has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies, including The Home Depot and Matria Healthcare.
Jack’s expertise is in chaplaincy, counseling and coaching services for corporate executives, and he holds multiple assessment and evaluation certifications. He founded and developed the Georgia Christian Counselors Association and the Board of Examiners for Georgia Christian Counselors and Therapists, where he has served as Chairman since 1993. He also founded the American Chaplains Association and Business Chaplains International in 2010 additionally; he holds Diplomat status with the National Association of Sports Psychologists..
Jack enjoys working as a football referee on the collegiate and high school level during the fall (an activity he has performed each weekend since the 1970s) and was elected President of the Georgia Football Officials Association in 1989, and president of the Georgia Officials Athletic Association in 2013. He has been married to his wife and business partner, Julia Kelly, Ph.D., for over 44 years, and they reside in Marietta, Georgia. They have four children and nine grandchildren.
