The second Monday of every month the Saving Susan community meets at Sanctuary in Him Church at 12:30p. This is not a time to talk about volunteer work, updates about the ministry, or make plans. Instead it is a time fully devoted to turning our eyes and hearts to the Lord as one body.
Lead by SSM Prayer Coordinator Cathy Russo, these meetings last an hour and attendance ranges from former mission team members, to ministry mentors, church staff, and Saving Susan team members. Everyone is welcome and when you walk in you are handed a list of what we are giving over to the Lord.
Cathy opens the time with a scripture that she felt lead to share and then thanks the Lord for who is and how He works. From there everyone is welcome to get involved and they can pray for something on the list or for something they feel lead to pray for in the ministry. The hour seems to fly by every month and everyone leaves feeling full of the Spirit and thankful for all God has done and will do.
We invite you to come and pray with us. This ministry that we have been called to and love so dearly would not work without the countless miracles the Lord has worked in every phase of its existence. The only way it will continue to prosper and do battle for the hearts and lives of these orphans is if we come together to fight the spiritual war as well.
