Being the thankful time of year I ask myself, what am I thankful for in my everyday? The answer is simple; my worth is secure in Christ and the consistent faithfulness of God in my life.
Ps. 5:12 For you, O Lord will bless the righteous with favor. You will surround him as with a shield.

Sunday October 1st Saving Susan Ministry hosted their first Parent Partner Appreciation event. It was an incredibly sweet and intimate time with Parent Partners, Board Members, and supporters.
Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Lift up a song for Him who rides through the deserts, whose name is the Lord, and exult before Him.
My whole life, I have wanted to go on a mission trip, so naturally, I assumed that it would never happen.
In July 2017 29 people left from Atlanta to Phnom Penh Cambodia. Our mission was to serve Sanctuary Church partners in Phnom Penh and Kampong Thom.
Neither words nor pictures can really capture what happened today but I will try.
Psalm 20:7- Some boast in chariots and some in horses, but we will boast in the name of the Lord, our God.
One of my roles with Saving Susan is to manage all communications coming out of the ministry.

When God used Adeline Hill as inspiration for Songs for Susan we weren't aware what the outcome would be.
The team has had their first meeting and is already bonding. Our focus right now and for the next month is fundraising.

Twenty children were presented a LifeTotes backpack or messenger bag filled with school & art supplies, a watch, personal care items and wrapped gifts of clothing items.
God has called us to return to Guatemala and we are excited about all of the opportunities we have to love and serve.

We just love it when God shows off, and by being part of the Saving Susan ministry, we often get a front row seat to his glory.
The Saving Susan community is such a beautiful reflection of the body of Christ – each member has a unique and purposeful role in glorifying and serving our Heavenly Father by loving his precious children in Cambodia.
