Live a "No Borders" life

My husband and I are blessed with the ability to work very well together. So much so that we started a freelance design project. We help nonprofits and small businesses with their web development and design needs. We are good at it and it gives us the chance to work with world changers.

We were working on designing t-shirts for Saving Susan Ministry and the concept of living without borders swirled in my head but I didn’t know how that translated into a design. I took time to reflect on the phrase No Borders-

No Borders for family

I have a brother who lives in Cambodia. Technology, obedience, and faith makes it possible for me to do life with this amazing young man through weekly video calls, social media messaging, and online schooling.

No Borders for faith

We constantly try to limit what God can do to the confines of our understanding. In the last year I have watched God expand my understanding of Him and my faith to a space far beyond my understanding.

No Borders for creativity

We are made in God’s image and He is the Creator.  My creativity is only restricted by the doubt filled limitations I put on myself.  Not just in art but in every area the Lord blesses us with talent there is room for boundless creativity.

No Borders for fellowship

I put restrictions around my concept for friendships.  I have watched the Lord shape and reshape my knowledge of who and where my friends are.  My friendships span the globe and I see the rich benefit of each one.

No Borders for work

My job has lead me to work with people all over the US into Canada and around the world.  A year and a half ago I never would have dreamed I would have to account for an eleven hour time difference. Now I don’t even have to think about it.

I shared these thoughts with my husband and he set to work on the design and I love where it went.  It is simple but every time I look at it I am not only reminded of the things listed above but I consider what it could mean to others and what new meanings the Lord will reveal to me.

These are small examples of living “No Borders” in my own life.  How do you strive to live with No Borders?
