Cambodia is in the southeastern part of Asia nestled between Thailand and Vietnam.
The main language is Khmer, but many of the children in our orphanage are learning English through our English Learning Program.
There are an estimated 553,000 orphans in Cambodia.

He is 8 years old, in 1st grade. His favorite thing to do is play with balloons. He enjoys learning Khmer in school and his favorite food is fried fish. In the future, he hopes to graduate high school.

Imparting Smiles desire and commitment is to create opportunities for impoverished children. We want to go beyond just providing enough food to eat, clean water to drink and a place to live. It is our goal to give them a strong education so that each of them can have the chance to make a better future for themselves, their families and their villages.
The children we help come from situations that prevented them from learning and attending school. We bring them to the Center so that they can be close to the public schools and are able to attend. We have full time Khmer teachers on staff to help them in their studies and supplement their learning. They also receive extracurricular studies in music, art, language and computer.
