What is Saving Susan?

What is Saving Susan Ministry and how can we all be a part of this ministry?

As their mission states:
Saving Susan connects children who are in need with loving Parent Partners: one child, one step at a time.

There are so many children in need all around the world and Saving Susan has dedicated themselves to reversing the effects of orphan abandonment....one child, one step at a time. Their story began in Cambodia after one little girl touched the heart of Jay Arntzen. He saw the need and felt the call to spread the love of God to these children in need....these abandoned children who needed to know they were loved, not just by people but ultimately by God.
I will not leave you as orphans,
I will come to you. John 14:18

Jay and Tracy were called...we are all called to spread God's love to those who do not know it, have not heard it, do not see it....we are called to love and to take care of those who need to feel that love.

           Religion that God our Father
accepts as pure and faultless is
this: to look after orphans and
widows in their distress and to
           keep oneself from being polluted
           by the world. James 1:27

Saving Susan Ministry enables us to spread that love...to reach those in other parts of the world. Through the Parent Partnering Experience we have the ability to love, mentor, pray for, emotionally support and monetarily provide for children who need us. We become their family and they become a part of our families. It not only affects and changes them.....it affects and changes us!

So when someone asks me "What is Saving Susan Ministry?".....I say its an answer to prayer, an opportunity to love and most importantly a chance to share the love of God to those who need it and to those who can then share it with others.

See what great love the Father
has lavished on us, that we
should be called children of God!
And that is what we are! The
reason the world does not know
us is that it did not know Him.
        1 John 3:1
